Sperm Processing Media

Complete range of media for sperm preparation for IUI, IVF or ICSI procedures. It features media for both Swim Up as well as Density Gradient Centrifugation. Available either as a pack of sterile, single use vials or in 30ml/ 100ml bottles for bulk use. Developed to facilitate ease of use and at the same time, to prevent contamination.

SpermPrime

Used for separation of actively motile spermatozoaby swim up, for use in ART procedures. It is also useful for the dilution of silica based density gradients for semen samples prepared using single layer/double layer density gradient separation. Comprises a HEPES buffered ideal for routine spermwash.

Features
  • A single box of SpermPrime contains 10 x 5ml sterile, single use vials
  • Also available in 30ml and 100ml quantities
  • Maximum isolation of motile sperm
  • Prevents sperm damage due to reactive oxygen species (ROS)
  • Eliminates sub optimal sperm
  • Shelf life of 12 months from manufacturing
  • To be refrigerated at 2-80C
SpermFilter

SpermFilter SL (10 x 2ml, 10 x 4ml)

Sperm Filter 45 (10 x 1ml, 10 x 4ml)

Sperm Filter 90 (10 x 1ml, 10 x 4ml)

Ready to use single and double layer density gradient media composed of silane coated colloidal silica particles with HEPES as a buffering agent. The different density gradients (SL, 45% and 90%) enable effective separation of motile, morphologically normal sperm from oligo and aesthenozoospermic samples.

Features
  • A single box of SpermFilter SL contains 10 x 2ml (gradient) and 10 x 4ml (HEPES) sterile, single use vials
  • A single box of SpermFilter 45/ SpermFilter 90 contains 10 x 1ml (gradient) and 10 x 4ml (HEPES) sterile, single use vials
  • Also available in 30ml and 100ml quantities
  • Effective separation of abnormal sperm, pus cells and other cellular debris from the seminal plasma and recovery of higher proportion of morphologically normal spermatozoa compared to swim up
  • Ideal for processing oligo and aesthenozoospermic samples especially for ICSI
  • Shelf life of 12 months when stored at 2-80C
